About Us
        Pan of Architects (commonly referred to as POA) is a Shanghai-based architectural practice wit 
operationsin the fields of architecture, products, landscape, engineering and planning. The office is
currently involvedin a large number of projects in Europe, North America, Asia and China, and as of 2024,
the company has won numerous architectural competitions and international awards.

        POA Architects was founded in Hong Kong in 2020 by architect Pan Chengshou and moved to Shang
hai in2022. POA is a promising new firm, a Chinese architectural practice that has developed rapidly in
recentyears and attracted the attention of the international architectural community. In 2024, POA joined
the AIA American Institute of Architects and became an internationally recognized Chinese design firm.
In the same year, the Royal Institute of British Architects awarded POA a chartered member.

        POA's architectural practice is based in China, but has a broad international perspective, focusing on
people-oriented and sustainable development issues, and has the ideal of creating future architecture.And
in 2024, it won the 2024 Asia Pacific 40 under 40 Annual Award. Against the backdrop of rapidmodernization
of urban construction in China, POA has conducted extensive theoretical research and engineering practice.
Meanwhile, POA’s spatial art is also being transformed into reality around the world.

  History

        POA Architecture was founded in late 2020 and was widely praised for its first completed public rental housing project. Since then, POA has participated in many projects around the world, including the "Phoenix Green Valley" Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Yiwu, China, Wuqian Sports Park in Cangnan, China, Oulian Auto Plaza in Wenzhou, China, the Convention and Exhibition Center in China Eye Valley, Wuhan Optics Valley East Neighborhood Center in Wuhan, China, Binhai Water Treatment Plant Covered Intelligent Industrial Park in Wenzhou, China, and Digital Agriculture Cooperative in Cangnan, China.

       In 2021, the outbreak of the new crown epidemic almost changed POA's view of the world. During the closed anti-epidemic period, POA participated in the architectural competition plan for the community health center, and then POA began to cooperate with the hospital to design the "Tengjiao Health Center" in Pingyang, which was completed in 2027.

       In December 2024, the company's partners expanded. In the same year, POA launched their first book and held an exhibition, a work that rethinks the self-esteem of nature and human habitation, about "green architecture" that explores the evolution of architecture through the harmonious coexistence of people, buildings and the environment.

  Design Leadership

         The firm is led by Chinese architect, associate member of the American Institute of Architects, and British Royal Chartered Architect Chengshou Pan. Founder and chief architect Chengshou Pan has won a series of important international design awards, including the WAFC World Architecture Festival China Design Award, the GFDA Global Future Design Award, the American MUSE Design Awards, and other awards. He was selected by the well-known magazine "Perspective Perspective" under 40 most influential domestic and foreign architects and interior designers in China. His works have been published in many well-known international media such as FDC AWARD, UED, Time, DETAIL, MARK / FRAME, etc. He has been invited to participate in academic activities and art exhibitions such as international design forums many times.

       
         Chief architect Pan Chengshou has presided over or participated in many world-renowned  architectural projects throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, including some influential projects. As a senior designer or partner, he has participated in or been responsible for projects such as Ouhai Bay Public Rental Housing, Gold International Plaza, Oulian Auto Plaza, Wuqian Sports Park, China Eye Valley Convention and Exhibition Center, "Phoenix Green Valley" Comprehensive Bonded Zone Project, Binhai Water Treatment Plant Cover Intelligent Industrial Park, Wuhan Optical Valley East Neighborhood Center, Yunhechao, Digital Agriculture Cooperative and other projects.
