Perspective, one of Asia's leading architecture and design magazines, has announced its 40 Under 40 Awards (Asia Pacific's 40 Outstanding Young Designers Under 40) for the year 20024, and POA Architects' founder, Poon Seng Soo, has made the list. The award ceremony was recently held in Hong Kong, China.
Since 2006, the 40 Under 40 Awards has been successfully organised by Perspective Magazine, one of the most important competitions in the design industry, and has been held for 14 years. Each year, the awards recognise 40 young designers under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence and professional achievement.
In the future, they are expected to be a major force for innovation. Past winners include André Fu, founder of AFSO, Joyce Ho, founder and design director of BARRIE HO Architecture Interiors Ltd, Ma Yansong, founder of MAD Architects, Aric Chen (M+), Joyce Wang, founder of Joyce Wang Studio, Lui Hing Yiu, vice-chairman of Lui Yuen Cheung Architects and Bjarke Chen, founder of BIG. curator Aric Chen (M+), Joyce Wang, founder of Joyce Wang Studio, Lui Ching Yiu, vice chairman of Lui Yuen Cheung Architects, and Bjarke Ingels, founder of BIG.
